Lightner Museum Pool
The Lightner Museum Pool was a truly unforgettable place: When the Hotel Alcazar, built by Henry Flagler in the 1870s in Saint Augustine, Florida, was converted into the Lightner Museum of History and Art, there was a remarkable swimming pool in a large room-like space. It covered the entire floor of the 120′ x 50′ room and contained waterfalls.
The beautiful arches and stairs for hotel guests to enter the pool were also very attractive.
