Sanibel Island Bridge
The Sanibel Island Bridge is known as a gateway in Southwest Florida that spans San Carlos Bay and connects Sanibel Island to the Florida mainland at Punta Rassa. Although the crossing facility is entirely owned by Lee County, it is also operated by the Lee County Department of Transportation. A $6 toll currently applies only to vehicles going to the island.
